Sacrament! is the first play created in collaboration with internationally heralded memoirist, novelist, and publisher Dave Eggers. In much the same way that Eggers and his literary journal McSweeney's attempt to shatter literary constructs, this piece takes off from Eggers' novels You Shall Know Our Velocity and the recently revised version of the book titled Sacrament!

"Eggers' strengths as a writer are real: his funny pitch-perfect dialog...there is genius here...Who is doing more, single-handedly and single-mindedly, for American writing?" - Time Magazine Celebrating its 40th Anniversary next year, Intersection for the Arts is San Francisco's oldest alternative art space and presents challenging new works in literature, theater, visual and interdisciplinary arts. We depend on the support of people like you. Please help ensure that Intersection is around for 40 more years and become a Member today.
