Calling Queers and Allies! to the total-liberation tour

Calling all queers and true total liberation allies! Join us at the Total
Liberation Tour (total-liberation.com) on Wednesday, July 21st, in support
of Urban Hermitt and queer liberation!

The Total Liberation Tour is now traveling the country and will reach the
Bay Area on July 20 and 21. As its name implies, the TLT is a gathering
of performance artists and speakers who oppose the many different forms of
oppression. Sadly, members of Taliyah, an anti-Queer and anti-Choice
radical Muslim group, have found themselves among the ranks of TLT
performers. Taliyah’s views are unquestionably heterosexist and
homophobic and their voice is one of oppression as opposed to total

All proceeds from the Total Liberation Tour are going to the SHAC7, a
group of activists who are currently fighting the US government’s attempt
to label protected first amendment speech as terrorism! (For more
information visit shacamerica.net) In these times of increasing
government repression, it is imperative to support the SHAC7’s efforts!

In an attempt to support the SHAC7 without trampling queer liberation
efforts, TRUE Bay Area total liberation allies are coming together to
ensure that the Total Liberation Tour will be a safe place for queers!

On Wednesday July 21 Urban Hermitt will take the mic to speak out about
Queer liberation! Please come support Urban Hermitt and help bring the
message of queer liberation to the Total Liberation Tour!

Other plans are in the works to make sure that queers gain visibility at
this event. It’s time to break down heteronormativity, gender binaries and
all forms of oppression!
