This book reading will describe the lives of working class people in dirt poor Oklahoma and their struggle to survive. Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz's grandfather was an organizer in the IWW. She will also discuss a new book, "Lucy Parson's Writings," about the Haymarket labor militant and her life in the struggles for workers' freedom and justice.
