WHO: Max Voltage, SFDK8 passes his title and the crown (family jewels) to whoever wins this testosterone-fueled bash of the binary system.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA—truly The SF Drag King Contest is one of Left Coast’s most original and beloved events. The competition, now in it’s 9th year, is always fierce and oh, so frickin’ fun! Every type of king is represented at this celebration, whether they’re onstage or in the audience: suits, hunks, punks, nerds, rockstars, rappers, gangstas, players, pornstars, jocks, dudes, bois, daddys, leathermen, dandies, cowboys, fags, bikers, blue collar, rough trade, soldiers (including Roman, like last year’s Clitorus Maximus), uniform and other fetishists, clowns, hippies, genX, genY, pomo homos and friends.
MC’s: FUDGIE FROTTAGE, “The Man With The Biggest Balls In Show Business” and
RUSTY HIPS, SFDK7, the hardest working drag king in San Francisco, as SAN BERNADINO JOE.
STARRING: HOWIE WEENIS, WHACKED WILLY RYDER, JAY WALKER, the INDRA, TRANSFORMERS, DeeDeeLUXE, ARTY FISHAL and more! Introducing the SLIM PICKINS, a psychobilly drag king trio with special guest vocalists.
