The U.S. occupation has received a new face with the handover of "full sovereignty" to the interim Iraqi government. It's clear, though, that the new government will be committed to protecting the interests of U.S. corporations while giving the U.S. military free reign. The new American ambassador Negroponte cut his teeth by overseeing the US-backed massacre of tens of thousands of Nicaraguans, and the Prime Minister Allawi is already talking tough about crushing the Iraqi resistance. Come to a presentation and discussion about the puppet government, where things are headed in Iraq, and what it's going to take to end the occupation and bring the troops home.
