SPECIAL rescreening of The Third Man and benefit for RGS
a special rescreening of the only film we've had interrupted by the authorities! If you've never seen the Third Man, you need to. If you've only seen half of this film at GDI, now is your chance.
A benefit for RGS and Special Rescreening of
The Third Man
This is a special rescreening of the only film we've had interrupted by the authorities! If you've never seen the Third Man, you need to. If you've only seen half of this film at GDI, now is your chance.
This is Rico's candidate for best film ever made. Great filmmaking in glorious black and white, a twisting plot, a haunting setting in post-war Vienna, Orson Wells, and fantastic zither music by Anton Karas. Hosted by Rico.
PLUS selected shorts, previews, yummy popcorn, good company, and an intermission.
8:00 pm Thursday July 8th Under the
Soquel Ave Bridge, Santa Cruz
BRING blankets, lawn chairs, friends, wine, & snackies for intermission. Donations are greatly appreciated and directly support the project and the Revolutionary Garden Society who sponsors Guerilla Drive-In.
SANTA CRUZ GUERILLA DRIVE-IN is exactly what it sounds like -- an outdoor movie theatre under the stars that springs up unexpectedly in the fields and industrial wastelands. Guerilla Drive-In is helping reclaim public space and transform our urban environment into the joyful playground it should be.
NEW LOCATION! S on Hwy 17 to Hwy 1, L on River St, L on Soquel, park a ways away (not in the Royal Taj lot), we're under the bridge
