UFW calls for march in Reedley

Dear Friends in the Cause for Justice,

It is my great pleasure to be able to connect with you to invite you to come, join us in the struggle for justice for the Farmworker. Although there are many organizations with very good programs to alleviate the suffering for the farm worker, and/or the undocumented, we have found that the one thing which would truly make there life easier to deal with is Legalization - they are telling us, "all we want to to work", we know we the wages are miserable, but we find ways to help each other, to make it work." This is why the UFW has made LEGALIZATION a primary focus.

I am sending you an English & Spanish flyer for a March & Vigil taking place this Thurs., July 1st at 7pm. We will be begin at Pioneer Park on G Street, btwn 8th & 9th and end with the Vigil at our Office at 1133 G Street, Reedley - in the rear parking area.

We are also inviting community organizations to a meeting this Friday, July 2nd at 6:30pm in our Office to share some plans & get input for future events. In the next week or so I will be sending you information on a Forum on Immigration, INS, Legalization in Reedley and a flyer for a July 18th March in Fresno.
