The Cuevas family is set to be deported on Wednesday, June 30th, if Barbara Boxer decides not to take action and stop their deportation. Thus far Boxers' offices only response has been for her director of constituent services to threaten Support Committee members and allies with arrest by the federal police.

Tami helped to get the SF Labor Council to pass a resolution calling for Boxer to take action to stop the deportation of the Cuevas family. The Alameda Labor Council passed the same resolution on June 22nd, and other unions and labor groups have also been active in the campaign. With the most recent group of labor folks signing on to the campaign being the Million Worker March Organizing Committee.
