While it is true that the anti-gay "panic" defense is no defense, this jury did not accept the "panic" defense but could not decide if it was first degree murder or manslaughter.

The prosecution, namely the taxpayers, will pay for another expensive trial; that is already being prepared. Meanwhile, let us look at the options.

Let us suppose the next jury decides that the 3 who are still maintaining their innocence (1 pled guilty to manslaughter in exchange for testifying against the other 3) are convicted of first degree murder. That means we, the taxpayers, are going to pay to punish, not rehabilitate, these young men for the rest of their lives in prison-concentration camps. They are now 24 years old. There is no rehabilitation going on in the prison-concentration camps; there is only punishment, rape, and above all, total waste of our tax dollars which are better spent on rehabilitation so that all prisoners can be released as quickly as possible to become productive members of society.

Thus, no matter if the 3 are convicted of first degree murder, manslaugter or not convicted at all, we all lose because there is no rehabilitation.

Thus, there is no justice in any court room and this trial is a complete waste of time and money.

Then, there is the obvious question: What were all 5 of these 24-year-old (or so) men doing, having sex with each other and using drugs? This is not gay or transgender liberation. This is plain old-fashioned degeneracy.

It is not the "panic defense" that will win acquittals; it is the whole disgusting sex party itself, although I am sure the defense attorneys do not have that view since they are not average people at all. I can assure you, it is the disgusting sex party that is the reason most people would not convict the idiots who perpetrated the murder.

Rather than act as a lynch mob, the transgender community needs to act as a community, and provide a positive social scene for its members. This sex party elicits no sympathy from most people. And, above all, keep away from the courts. There is no justice in this punishment-oriented legal system.

Sex parties aren't disgusting. Sex parties are fun. You just have to be selective about who you invite.

a person shouldnt have to die for their sexual preference no mortal that walks this earth is god and has no right to judge anyone ppl can not help the way they feel regardless weither others may feel its right or wrong its nobodys call to make transgenders,gays,lesbians should be allowed to love freely and be left alone they deserve love, warmth, and happiness just like everybody else
