New excuse for 911 fighter jet failure exposed as a lie
Now they have insulted the intelligence of the american people. Do they really want us to believe we had no plan in place for hijackings? They are, at the very least, admitting gross incompetence in which case they should be thrown out immediately. This administration is inept and dangerous! The lies seem to point toward treason.
New excuse exposed as a lie.
U.S. air defences "unprepared" for 9/11
U.S. fighter jets had virtually no chance to shoot down or intercept four hijacked planes on September 11, 2001, because of confusion and poor communication among "unprepared" military and civilian officials, a special commission says.
What a joke- they were confused and 'unprepared' after months of warnings and a memo titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States"?
Bush himself was part of the 111th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, a standby runway alert component of the 143rd Group, one of several tactical Guard units responsible for defending the Southern coast of the Continental U.S. against attack.
WTF happened to standard procedure?!
An example of how the air defense network normally responds to domestic emergencies is illustrated by the well-reported 1999 case of Payne Stewart's Lear jet. When the golfer's jet failed to respond to air traffic controller communications, F-16 interceptors were quickly dispatched. According to an Air Force timeline, a series of military planes provided an emergency escort to Payne's stricken Learjet starting about 20 minutes after contact with his plane was lost. !
