Which Sins?

by Liberty (SaveFreedom [at] yahoogroups.com)
Homosexuality? Or sororicide and fratricide?
WHICH SINS CAUSED AIDS?

Back in Reagan's Eighties (which some lament as "the Aidsies"), religious fascists could openly call AIDS a divine punishment for the "sin" of homosexuality, and especially for male/male anal sex.

Two decades pass with painful slowness. No matter what they may think in private, fewer and fewer ecclesio-fascists make this claim in public. And we learn more and more about how Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) evolves into HIV. This world-wide plague traces back to the murdering and butchering of chimpanzees by humans, for sale in the "bushmeat" trade.

We also discover that "Genetically, chimpanzees are 98.5 percent identical to humans" [Reuters, 26 May 2004; Science ]*. In ethical terms, each chimp is virtually human. The slaughtered chimpanzees are our sisters and brothers.

In the Book of Genesis, Cain commits the sin of fratricide, thus earning divine condemnation. In the 20th and 21st centuries, modern humans murder our brothers and sisters, to sell their dead flesh for cash.

So here we come full circle. Yes, AIDS does result from sins -- not from sexual "sins", but from real sins.
This epidemic is karmic payback for fratricide, sororicide, and commercialized cannibalism.
