Democracy Matters is a non-profit, non-partisan student organization trying to reform our political system. The exorbitant amounts of money needed to run for political office has robbed our democracy of its integrity. Come find out what you can do to get money out of politics and people back in. This Tuesday, we will be focusing particularly on issues of education. Education is consistently one of the highest priorities of American voters, but instead of funding No Child Left Behind with the $8 billion necessary, funding was CUT $90 million! Find out how private interest is getting in the way of democracy!
