Pro-Biotech Protesters at Moscone Center

by Pro-Biotech Communist
Yesterday at Moscone, I saw these guys standing outside the main entrance. There was a lot of good conversation happening there. I had hoped that the Reclaim the Commons participants had an intelligent critique of biotech, but I was wrong. I talked to at least 20 people and all of them had the most ignorant things to say about the science they are trying to destroy. It was upsetting to me.

haha, the thought of someone outside the scene actually being able to form an opinion about important political issues of the day, much less one who believes in communism and would like to see its true essence come into being, is too much for the above commenter.

before i make snide remarks about how it's "preferable" to be socially marginalized through refusing to excercise your ability to shower daily, i'm honestly interested in hearing more about what makes a "true" communist?

So what about this photo (also from the rally)?

The sponsor of the pro-biotech protesters seems to be a libertarian outfit attempting to mimic the "cool" leftist/activist look and feel:

There were certainly some inarticulate people at the protest, however, simply attacking how someone presents an argument means nothing. I overheard several of the protesters making articulate comments to the media. Perhaps you just didn't speak to the right people.
