SFPD Dreaming About How They Will Spend All The Overtime They Are Milking from the City
This is a picture of SFPD officers lounging after they had arrested 5 people during last Saturday's breakaway march. They went a bit overboard on police presence on Saturday and have continued to do so the rest of this last week, which is nice for them when they get their next paychecks, but means a lot of money being sucked from the city budget.
Around 5pm yesterday, Tuesday the 8th, when bicyclists began riding around SF City Hall. SFPD began to follow in one of their Paddy[SIC] Wagons and a cop said "thanks for the overtime" over the PA system from the wagon.
Later on in the night, another SFPD officer told a friend that he would be spending his overtime money on a nice vacation.
What about all the folks that are being laid off because of budget problems? All the city workers that are getting paycuts? Why not lay off some police? Especially the ones that are more of a liability to the city - aka the cops who killed Cammerin Boyd, Idriss Stelley - and especially Captain Martel, who should have been layed off a long time ago for his mistakes(which costed the city over a $1 million for one mass false arrest of folks during a Mumia demo).

The 40 some odd law enforcement agency officers from
around Miami were doing that demonstratively for a couple
hours after the first day of action at FTAA last November.
Might wanna check and see if that is included in the playbooks
and training videos now as Timoney and Ramsey are teaching.
DC Police Chief Ramsey's been known to brag in front of TV
cameras over how many millions of dollars in overtime he's
been able to suck out of the national budget and secure for
his profiteers.
And guess who two of the big exporters of this brand of
terrorism are going to be for DNC and RNC? Yup. Ramsey and
Timoney.
That's why I call this welfare for fascists.
They ought to be ashamed of themselves. "Forgive them father..."
I've heard victims say to themselves at many non-violent protests
as they're turned into violent ones by billyclubs, motorcycles
and butch haircuts.
At what point are the "pigs" [*] going to realize that they're
little more than slaves themselves? Just temporarily better
paid slaves, is all.

Smashed department store windows. Smashed newspaper stands. Smashed SUV car windows. Public roads - PUBLIC - taken over unnecessarily by self-proclaimed "protesters" in some farce of supposed "free speech", with access thus denied to a far greater majority.
Oh boy, let's go vandalize the Starbucks window again. Yeah, look at us - we're rebels. When it's convenient, and fun, and we can get together and hang out with our friends and talk shit.
The rest of the time we're just angsty, lazy hippies complaining about The System and practicing our poor-poor-me's.
