Blow the Whistle on Dianne Feinstein!
Say No to Privatization of Medicare.
Say Yes to Real Prescription Drug Benefits!

The Medicare Reform Act of 2003 was signed into law by President Bush last December. This bill was supposed to provide much needed prescription drug benefits to all Medicare beneficiaries. Instead, it created a very confusing drug benefit that will not help very many beneficiaries. In addition,  it provides millions of dollars in subsidies to private insurance companies and drug companies and undermines the Medicare program. It is a bad bill and must be repealed.

Senator Feinstein voted with the architects of this legislation. Thousands of California seniors attempted to persuade her to vote against this bill, but in the end, she sided with the insurance  and drug companies. We must tell her how disappointed we are in her vote and urge her to support efforts to repeal it. CARA has been collecting 1000's of postcards from Californians, which we plan to present to her .  Join us and tell Senator
Feinstein how you feel.

Sponsored by the California Alliance for Retired Americans.
