Participants convene at 7am at Crissy Field. The march will proceed from Crissy Field to the SF side of the GG Bridge, across to the Marin side of the GG Bridge, back to the SF side, and then down to Crissy field for a huge celebration. There will be continuous events at Crissy field for those who attend but are unable to march. The event begins at 7am and will continue until about 1pm.

Join over 10,000 doctors, medical students, health practitioners, union members, religious and community leaders, activists and other allies as march across the Golden Gate Bridge to demand reliable, affordable, quality health care for all!

The Golden Gate Bridge March is the flagship event of Bridging the Gap - the National Health Care Day of Action. On June 19th, events across the country will pressure politicians to "bridge the gap" between those of us who have health insurance and the 44 million Americans who don't. Along with the 10,000+ person event in San Francisco, there will be marches in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Seattle, Albuquerque, and many other cities.

Join us! This event is sponsored by groups including Americans for Health Care, MTV's Rock the Vote, SEIU and the SEIU Committee of Interns and Residents, Jobs with Justice, the San Francisco Labor Council.
