Journalists Terrorize Iraqis and Terrorists With Abu Ghraib Pictures

by Gary Revel (garyrevel.geo [at] yahoo.com)
To Muslims, nakedness and especially nakedness in front of a strange woman is somewhere akin to being thrown into a burning lake of fire in it's torment and psychological impact. By flaunting these pictures the message is; look what we have done to you Muslims for attacking us on 9/11.

Newspapers, Magazines and Broadcasters all over the world are saturating the world with pictures of prisoner abuse from Abu Ghraib. Story after story floods the public with details of the abuse along with pictures of naked men in various poses and horrific situations. To the Muslim this is sheer torture. One Iraqi was quoted as saying that it would have been better to kill the prisoners than torture them in such a sexual manner. One would think that journalists have an intense interest in pictures of naked men and are carrying out a plan to humiliate Muslims all over the world by continually bringing more and more pictures of humiliated Iraqis to the world press.

To Muslims, nakedness and especially nakedness in front of a strange woman is somewhere akin to being thrown into a burning lake of fire in it's torment and psychological impact. By continually flaunting these pictures throughout the world the message the American journalists send is; look what we have done to you Muslims for attacking us on 9/11. The over-abundant ranks of liberal journalists in America are shooting themselves in the foot with this strategy. I realize that they think that by continually reminding America of this debacle they undermine the political momentum of President George Bush and will cause his November election bid to fail but in the process they are putting the entire Muslim population of the world through a nightmare that seems to have no end.

The pictures are scaring the daylights out of Muslims who are at war with America. Especially when Democratic Congressmen and women say on worldwide news broadcasts that they think this is not just an isolated case but may be found throughout the coalition prisons in Iraq, Afghanistan and Gitmo. Liberal journalists are in effect playing right into the hands of someone who seems to be a lot smarter than the journalists. Publishing the pictures and spreading them all over the world strikes fear into the hearts of terrorists all over the world for fear that they too may someday be caught and treated in a similar manner.

Every picture screams 'remember 9/11' and intensifies the fear in the hearts of Muslims all over the world. It almost seems as if the press is cooperating in the psychological operation of showing the pictures to Iraqis and terrorists to get them to turn. It is obvious to me that the pictures were taken for that very purpose.
