Dear Unionists and Labor Activists:

You received earlier today an announcement of the Kickoff Rally
tomorrow night (Saturday, May 22) of the Million Worker March. The rally will be held at 8 p..m. at the hiring hall of ILWU Local 10
(400 North Point @ Mason St.) in San Francisco's Fishermen's Wharf district.

The rally organizers are pleased to announce that Brother Kingsley
Chew, President of CWA Local 9410, and Sister Gayle Crawley, Vice President of CWA Local 9410, will be among the featured speakers at the rally.

Earlier today (Friday), the entire West Coast Caucus of the ILWU
turned out at the rally at Folsom and 3rd St. in support of the
striking CWA workers. The estimated 150 ILWU Caucus delegates cheered on as CWA workers rallied support for their fight for a fair contract with SBC. ILWU President John Spinoza addressed the rally and supported the fighting CWA workers. Another member of the ILWU (and organizer of the Million Worker March) addressed the gathering and invited all in attendance to come to the Million Worker March Kickoff Rally on Saturday, May 22nd at ILWU Local 10. The call for the MWM was greeted with enthusiastic applause by all the unionists and labor rights supporters.

And just this afternoon (Friday), the delegates to the meeting of the
ILWU's West Coast Caucus -- representing all the ILWU Locals on the West Coast -- voted to endorse the Million Worker March and to recommend endorsement of the March to the ILWU's Executive Board.

Please tell your friends, family and co-workers about the MWM Kickoff Rally and about the picket lines(in SF) to support the striking CWA workers.
