FEAR WILL NOT SILENCE US!!!

On June 26th, Not In Our Name will be presenting an art show fundraiser to raise money to send people to the protests at the Republican National Convention in New York City, which is being held August 29th through September 2nd. The theme of the show is ANTI-MILITARISM. We need representatives of FASHION (fashion show), VIDEO/FILM(three walls of film), MUSIC, POSTER ART (whole wall of poster art), PHOTOGRAPHY, PERFORMANCE and anything else that you feel could represent this message well.

The exhibition will be at a new venue called the French Fry Factory. It'a huge two story warehouse space in downtown oakland.The address is 278 4th St Oakland, CA 94607-4332. It's a one night event.

We will be placing the artists name with each peice, and will be handing out a program containing the artists name and contact info, so if people like their work they can contact the artist to see more. We're leaving it up to the artist what percentage of the sale (from 0%-100%) they would like to donate to the cause. Of course art donations are definitely welcome.

The deadline for entering your art will be from May 31st to June 10th.

If you're not artistically inclined, but would
like to help (set-up, models, tabling, etc.)
please let us know. All the help we can get is
greatly appreciated. We want representation from all
forms of expression.
