The Gap boycott has never been quite official as I have known it. Many of us simply don't shop there out of disgust with their overall corporate practices, including sweatshop violations and clearcutting stuff up north, not to mention the Fischer families involvement in Edison private school stuff. At any rate, boycotts are usually more effective when they are called for by certain groups of workers or organizations with the consent of a certain amount of workers, the Gap boycott has never really been that way. So this women wearing the Gap sweatshirt is not really doing anything wrong per se, except for just not abiding by a certain counter culture that runs through most leftists and movement folks. Then again she may have got the sweatshirt for free and then really who's to judge, except that most of us wouldn't advertise for them out of principle.

of course she's not doing anything "wrong." i don't even really believe in "wrong." i just thought it was funny....actually, i really think left-leaning people should stop criticizing each other for not being perfect adherents to what you describe as a "certain counterculture." i'm sorry if i came off as just another anarcho-prude
