I think something more is required, asking for a "pullout" from Gaza is not enough. In fact, the majority of these people favor Sharon's idea of a "pullout", which is not even a pullout at all (the military would still control parts of Gaza under that plan) what should be rejected is the occupation in its entirety, and the complete rejection of a state for one ethnic group rather than for all that reside there (and did reside there before the catastrophe of 1948)

I do appreciate that some Israelis are supporting the refuseniks, those that young men and women who refuse to serve in the armed forces. I would hope many would now call for international sanctions against this brutal occupation.

We cannot change the past, but we can do some good now.
It would be impossible to ethnic cleanse some 5,000,000 or so Jewish People without causing World Outrage.
Just as it would be just as Outrageous to ethnic cleanse some 4,000,000 or so Palestinians.

And since Israel does not seem to want to take a chance in a one State Solution where all people have equal rights, freedom of religion, and equal right to vote, for fear that one day the Palestinians would be the majority, it would be in their best interest to get this Palestinian State done and over with, so they can start living in peace, side by side.

Otherwise we will continue to have:
Israel: We have to confiscate Palestinian land and demolish Palestinian homes because there are suicide bombers???
Palestine: We have to defend ourselves because Israel is slowly confiscating all our land and demolishing our homes. We have no military to defend ourselves and our land. If we do nothing, we will soon have nothing at all???
The era of colonization is past,. We cannot expect to oppress millions of Palestinian People and still have peace.

A Palestinian State NOW in the Whole of the West Bank and Gaza, which is only 22% of what is Today Israel, West Bank and Gaza, not to much to ask for the peace and freedom of some 4,000,000 fellow human beings.
