Photos & Reportbacks from Day 2 and Day 3

The Fast 4 Education is now entering it's 4th day, and as the hunger of the fasters grows, so does the coverage of their struggle, and the communitites hunger for equal funding and an equal education. The City of Oakland is also becoming more hostile to the presence of the fasters, and has threatened to fence off the tree that the fasters have been using for shade over the last couple of days. The community is also coming out in larger numbers to support the fasters and their demands, as was witnessed last night by the large number of community supporters that came out to join the fasters in the community organizing meeting at 6pm, the danza mexica ceremony, and the candlelight vigil that happened at 8pm. Today Dolores Huerta will be stopping by to share some words of support and encouragement with the fasters in their struggle at 1:30pm, and many other community members will be joining the fasters tonight at the candlelight vigil at 8pm.

For more info about ways to support the Fast 4 Education over the next couple of days, and upcoming events see the message posted yesterday by Jonah Zern from Education Not Incarceration:
