Corporate conscience belongs in a company's products, not just in its marketing. Major cosmetics company, Avon, markets itself as a leader in the fight against breast cancer while selling products that contain harmful chemicals that may be linked to the disease. Avon will be in town for the opening of the Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center at San Francisco General Hospital. Come march, hold signs, and be a presence with Breast Cancer Action as we tell Avon that if they really care about breast cancer they need to remove the harmful chemicals from their products.

Do you want to make some noise about chemicals and cosmetics? Please join us to hold signs, march, and be a presence as we tell Avon:
- thank you for pledging to remove phthalates from your products,
- continue to be a leader by removing parabens (a chemical preservative that may be linked to breast cancer) and other harmful chemicals from your
products,
- fully disclosing all product ingredients, and
- be open and transparent about how much money you raise for breast cancer and where and how the money is spent.

Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there!
