Take Action to Stop Surveillance of Peace Groups
Please take a moment to send a letter to Bill Lockyear to investigate the illegal surveillance of Peace Fresno - and to make sure that it doesn't happen again in our state!

Stop the Surveillance of Peace Groups!
Tell Lockyer to Investigate in California!
Members of Peace Fresno had no idea who
"Aaron Stokes" really was.
All this local Fresno group knew was that
Aaron seemed interested in anti-war issues
and took notes at meetings.
"Aaron Stokes" was really Deputy Aaron
Kilner of the Fresno Sheriff's Department.
His death in a motorcycle accident led the
Fresno Bee newspaper to publish his photo.
Peace Fresno activists then began to
connect the dots. For six months, the
Fresno County Sheriff's anti-terrorism unit
had been infiltrating Peace Fresno.
This kind of surveillance is illegal under
the California Constitution -- but State
Attorney General Bill Lockyer has yet to
take action.
Please tell Attorney General Lockyer to
investigate this infiltration and make
sure it never happens again -- anywhere
in our state.
