Exhibition and Sale to Benefit An Art School & Open Studio in Perquin, El Salvador by Claudia Bernardi

Art Sale - Saturday May 15, 7 PM

Since Intersection’s Resident Artist and human rights activist Claudia Bernardi first visited Perquin, El Salvador in 1992 to work on a mural project, she has strived to respond to the community’s request to make art a pivotal activity in their lives by opening an Art School & Open Studio. Many of Bernardi’s seminal pieces from the past decade will be on view and for sale in support of establishing the School of Art in Perquin. A preview of filmmaker Penelope Price’s Artist of Resistance will screen on May 15.
