Separated from Wife and Kids by Dept. of Homland Security
Hi,

My name is Thevenin "Tevs" Yen, here is my story, i have been in the U.S since i was 17 years old - (14 years), went to high school and college in Orange County - Southern California Area, I also have no criminal background or any type of felonies, I was employed until Dec. 1st of 2003 earning $50,000 annually (PRIMEDIA.com), I am married with 2 daughters ages 3 and 6, My wife was born in Manhattan Beach and my oldest daughter born in Paramount, youngest born in Anaheim. I have just been recently deported By Dept. of Homland security from the U.S here to the Phillipines. I have always stayed legally in the U.S (functioned like any other U.S citizen, went to school, work with legal S.S number and drivers license) with working authorization and have been paying taxes since 1993, never been unemployed) when my wife and i got married last 2002, My wife filed for a petition for me to change my status to Green Card Holder. Dec. 1st of 2003 dept. of homeland Security came and knocked in my front door at our place in Cypress, CA. and took me in overlooking that i had a petion pending from my wife and that i had an interview with immigration around February of 2004, and held me in a Pasadena holding facility 4 levels underground with Convicted criminals that have served time in Federal or State Penitentiaries and are now waiting to be deported. I was placed on a Con-Air sort of Plane with our wrists shackled to our waist for the entire length of the flight back to the Phillipines. Now i am living next to a sewer up in the mountain city of Baguio 6 hours north of Manila. I have lost my job and my wife's job had to let her go, just to come over and visit me here last March, My Family is Financially hurting and the Government refuses to help, My wife is forced to give up her car and she has sold another car, and they can no longer afford our apartment so they are forced to give it up and move out, we are behind on bills and our credit pretty much destroyed. I hope this story is worth something for you guys.
