Dear Friends,
Please join us for an evening of conscious art, music, spoken word, poetry, cultural performances and dance. As the struggle in Palestine continues so does the need to continue to support organizations that are fighting for justice and equality in Palestine. This event also commemorates Al-Nakba (The Palestinian Catastrophe of May 15th 1948). Al-Nakba tragedy marks the occupation and destruction of Palestine and the ethnic cleansing and deportation of its people. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinian native inhabitants were forced to abandon their lands; hundreds of Palestinian villages were systematically terrorized, destroyed and wiped out to establish the Zionist state of Israel.
