Take a look at this Forbes page for more information on just how much money SBC is absconding with...

http://www.forbes.com/static/execpay2004/LIRT9T4.html?passListId=12&passYear=2004&passListType=Person&uniqueId=T9T4&datatype=Person

According to Forbes, SBC CEO Edward E. Whitacre Jr. has a 5-yr total compensation of over $134 million. This is well over the telecom services median of $30.8 million. In addition, this is with his Forbes "Pay vs. Performace" rating of "D".

It's easy to see that there's something wrong with SBC when cuts workers and raises the cost of medical benefits AFTER making over $8.5 billion, swallowing ATT Wireless, and taking care of its fat, over-privileged executives.
