This is the third public meeting of the New Progressive Left Movement -- an alliance of Greens, independents, Socialists and others from the Bayview Hunters Point, Mission and Excelsior Districts, SOMA and the Haight.

The founding Conference of the NPLM was endorsed by Frontlines newspaper; SF Bayview newspaper; SF Green Party; Immigrant Rights Movement (MDI); Community First Coalition, BVHP; Left Party; Immigrant Labor Organizing Committee; District 9 - Mission Greens; trade union activists in ATU, SEIU and other unions; Arabs Building Community; All Islanders Gathering As One (AIGA-1)and others.
