Pacifica's broadcast on KPFA, 94.1 FM, begins at 7 a.m. Pacific time on Sunday, April 25, 2004, of the march for our right to abortion.

In addition, when you hear the phony baloney Democrats speak, remember it was Justice Blackman, a Nixon appointtee, who wrote the majority opinion in Roe v. Wade, legalizing abortion in 1973, and a Kennedy appointee, Justice White, who dissented. It was our mass peace movement against the Vietnam War, under whose umbrella were the women's and gay liberation movements, that made possible the legalizing of our right to abortion and much more. No capitalist party gives a damn about civil rights or our right to abortion.

Our movement must demand free abortion on demand, regardless of ability to pay, age or marital status, with fully-government funded abortion clinics in every county in the US, requiring that all gynecologists-obstetricians be fully trained in performing abortions at all stages of pregnancy to obtain a license to practice medicine in the GYN-OB field, and requiring that all hospitals have full abortion services available in order to be licensed or turn over their facilities to the state, which the Catholic hospitals would have to do. All hospitals and schools should be public, secular and free, fully funded with our tax dollars based on the progressive income tax, tax the rich, with no money going to the military, prisons or the death penalty, all of which should be abolished.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
