On April 24th 2004, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, Bay Area Police Watch and Books Not Bars will be sponsoring a Community Advocacy Training Series.
This ongoing series will be held on the fourth Saturday of every month.
The Community Advocacy Training Series will deal with Policing issues and the failing Juvenile Justice System.
We will be training all interested community members on these systems of oppression and on what can be done to protect our rights.
The training on the 24th will be held at the East Oakland Youth Development Center, 8200 International Blvd., Oakland, CA.
Snacks will be provided, for childcare needs and other information please call 415-951-4844 x 228 (BAPW) or x 239 (BNBFAC).
