What is a consulta? Sorry, I don't know!
This title of the event was formulated by an ARLA member from Chiapas. "Consulta" refers to consulting the people -- typically, in Latin America, an unofficial people's election where polling stations are put in place by the social movements in the neighborhoods and villages to determine whether or not the people support, say, the FTAA.
