COMEDY NIGHT!!!
a benefit for the rise of the International Hotel (I-HOTEL) and the Manilatown Center. The I-Hotel was the home for many Chinese and Filipino elderly immigrants, adn was teh last standign block of a 10-block area that was previously known as Manilatown. From 1968 to 1977 the Internation Hotel Tenants Association led teh defense of their home against eviction, for affordable housing, and preservation of their Chinatown-Manilatown community. The new I-Hotel and teh Manilatwon Center will be opening in May 2005.
