THE GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS
mayor tell us why?
THE GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS
With San Jose in the worst recession in its history(over 70 million dollars in the red this year and counting, and next year looking much worse)
why does the Mayor choose to defund programs for poor, the home less, seniors and children. AND at the same time, OK the construction of a city hall project with a start up cost of over 300 million dollars! this lavish project is just the continuation of the so-called down town redevelopment projects.
(that have been long known for the back room deals that have plagued these projects.)
ONE MIGHT ASK THE QUESTION,
*** WHY DOES SAN JOSE NEED A NEW CITY HALL PROJECT AT THIS TIME???
*** why are we still funding a down town redevelopment project that has been a fiscal disaster???
*** with every city program being cutback, why does his administration throw money out the window on these programs???
