Ever wanted to meet a US Vice-Presidential candidate?
Well, now you can!
Mary-Alice "Mal" Herbert, the 2004 Vice Presidential nominee from the US Socialist Party will be making her way to the Chabot College campus on Monday April 19, from 5-7 pm in Room 600.
She has been visiting schools in the Bay Area and has made speeches at UC Berkeley and CSU Hayward. Ms. Herbert will spend the day at Castlemont High School, before heading over to Chabot College.
She will be giving a speech titled "Capitalism or Democracy?", which will cover many aspects of the current US political system, alternatives to the two-party system, Democratic Socialism and what it actually means, the history of the US Socialist Party and her candidacy.

There is no admission cost and light refreshments will be provided.
