Bush redefines "battle stations" after CIA memo.
A steamed-up Rice defiantly stated that the Bush regime was on "battle stations" in regards to the "terrorism" threat from al Qaeda in the months preceding the 9-11 attacks. Really? Bush was ON VACATION for most of August in Texas!
Even after receiving the Aug. 6, 2002 CIA memo that was titled, "al Qaeda aims to attack the U.S.," the flaccid Chickenhawk Cabal was hardly "on battle stations."
For example, during the month of August, Bush played a lot of golf in Crawford. He helped build a home for Habitat for Humanity, went to fundraisers at a Harley-Davidson plant and at a Target store. He attended a Little League championship game. And he on picnics with the steelworkers and at YMCA.
I didn't know that the Bushwhacked Newspeak included these picnics and retail stores as "Battle Stations!"
