You Are Cordially Invited to Attend the Cinco De Mayo Fiesta on May 2, 2004 at the Placer County Fairgrounds located at 800 All America City Blvd. in Roseville, CA - 18 miles east of Sacramento, CA.

The Cinco de Mayo Safety Day Fiesta – Health, Education, Job Fair and Chicano Art Explosion to be held at Roseville’s Placer County Fairgrounds on May 2, 2004 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. brings the sound, culture and taste of Mexico to Placer County.

One full day of fun, food, Mariachi singers and fiesta for everyone. The Fiesta is more than just a celebration. It's an affirmation of the belief that our community is alive with promise. Education is the key to the future, and through scholarship awards, the fiesta becomes the gateway to young Hispanic men and women taking their rightful place in society.

The Placer County Fairgrounds is located at 800 All America City Blvd off Washington Blvd. across the street from Woodbridge School and is in one of Roseville’s oldest neighborhoods. Home to pioneering Hispanic Railroad workers that made this town what it is – the hub of Placer County and gateway to the Sacramento Valley.

The Cinco de Mayo Fiesta has the first time excitement of a Mexican Mercado. A sense that it is time for this thriving community to show itself, and others, the extraordinary panorama of a culture rich in diversity. The possibilities are endless! Music! Dance! Tradition!

Come see a colorful pageant with beautiful decorations that makes this event truly an international festival that has become a stunning tribute to the vitality of the Hispanic community.

This Fiesta is one of three signature showcase destination events the Hispanic Empowerment Association of Roseville or HEAR sponsors and we are always collaborating with other corporate responsible companies that want to join in on all the family fun by having an information booth to do Hispanic Outreach! This year HEAR is partnering with the City of Roseville, Roseville Electric, U.S. Bank, the Placer County Board of Supervisors, SureWest, Golden One Credit Union, Denio’s Auction, Labor Council of Latin American Advancement, Hewlett-Packard and many other businesses.

With a volunteer force of many, six field coordinators, an active HEAR member Board of Directors, along with entertainers and vendors, the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta has more than hit its stride as one of Roseville's most popular ethnic festivals.

Accompanying us to the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on the road to success have been the many community-based, non-profit agencies and City, County and State Department’s that actively participate in our annual Health, Education and Job Fair and you are invited as well! Come one, come all as this Fiesta begins at 10 am until 6 pm on Sunday, May 2, 2004 on the Mahan Stage and in Jones Hall.
