Viva España ! (sex versus fascism)

Viva España !

Dear freedomseekers,

Is a new sexual dawn approaching Spain?

When can one say that a country is going thru a "sexual
revolution", either in behavior or in ideology?
In the USA, I think our First Sexual Revolution began in the
1920's -- the "Jazz Age", famous for "flappers" (who called
themselves "new women"), for woman's suffrage, for struggles
to legalize birth control (condoms and diaphragms), for "nudist
colonies", for struggles against Comstockian censorship, for
open ridicule of Victorianism by urban sophisticates, etc.;
drawing on feminist, rationalist, Freudian, libertarian, bohemian, and scientific ideas which had roots in the 1700s. I think it lasted thru World War Two; then was temporarily crushed by postwar 1950s conservatism.
Our Second U.S. Sexual Revolution was named and
recognized in the 1960s; but I think it began with publication of
Dr. Kinsey's studies of sexual behavior; and really took off when
contraceptive pills became available. It includes many
movements, institutions, and activists -- Playboy, feminism, swinging, queer liberation, polyamory, zines, group marriages, porn, and many more -- who may not acknowledge or value their kinship; and may sometimes conflict.
That second "sex-revo" hasn't ended. Our current
(spring 2004) struggle for equal marriage rights is merely the
latest chapter (and far from the last) in a very long story about brave friends of love and freedom hurling their fragile bodies at the steel fortresses of hatred and tyranny.
.............

Now Spain's new leader says: "The time has come for extreme respect for the sexual opinions of every individual, a time for a secular vision."
So, despite my lamentable ignorance of Spain, I'd like to pose a few speculative questions; hoping that Spaniards (or other students of Spanish culture and history) might respond.
(1) Did Spain experience a sexual revolution in the first third
of the 20th century, including anarchist, feminist and Reichian ideas;
culminating during the Spanish Civil War? (If so, was this
completely crushed by Franco's fascist regime?)
(2) Did Spain experience another sexual revolution after
Franco's death, as people rejected his repressive policies?
(3) Is Spain about to embark on a fresh sexual revolution ?
Or just another phase of the post-Franco thaw? Or...?
