Community Forum on Haiti Features Pierre Labossiere
The Sacramento Area Black Caucus, Peace Action, and the Freedom Bound Center will sponsor a community forum/dialogue on the Crisis In Haiti on Wednesday, April 21 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Women's Civic Improvement Center, 3555 3rd Avenue, Sacramento, CA.
The featured speaker will be Brother Pierre Labossiere, Co-founder of the Haiti Action Committee. La Boissiere, himself Haitian and an activist for many years in the U.S., will discuss the present situation in Haiti and how we can assist the Haitian people. The Haiti Action Committee website is http://haitiaction.org.
Admission to the event is free, but donations are encouraged. Nobody will be turned away due to a lack of funds.
