why are "primitivists" species traitors?

why are the "primitivists" species traitors?
WHY SPECIES TRAITOR?
Our reality has been defined by the work of specialists. The world around us has been charted, mapped, dissected, labeled, and caged. The goal being to remove humans from the community of life around us: to become the gods that we created. The totality exists by classifying and giving values, embodying a complete rejection of our wild, full selves.
By being species traitors, we are rejecting the scientific, rational world that the domesticators have laid before us. We realize that becoming a full human can only come when it is done within the context of the ‘other’. We are defined by what we are not, but this is not the separation that the scientists cling to. Understanding what we are not entails understanding that we are a part of this world, not above it. The civilized mentality has come through contorting this relationship with the world. Our intent is a complete rejection of that manipulative worldview.
Being a traitor to this scientific, categorized worldview is a rejection of the anthropocentric worldview. It is a realization of our place among the ‘other’. It is not an anti-human view, but recognition of what it means to be human. It is an understanding that our being comes from the Earth, not from science.

THE PROBLEM
Civilization, the combination of sedentary agriculture, symbolic culture, division of labor, hierarchy, technology: the great domesticator, remains a force enacted upon us. From birth its lifeless drive towards a utopian, always distant Future has been internalized by the process of its own making.
For over 10,000 years, our Earth has been plagued by this product of property and power. Its values and interests have become ours, as we have been raised in a world that knows no options, where dreams are punished and conformity is rewarded. Never given the chance to flourish as full beings, we grow dependent and ever faithful.
Tainted by the reality of a techno-industrial nightmare that breeds only disguised, self-imposed hatred and blind rage, under the illusion of etiquette, nicety, and religion: we know nothing of ourselves, our beings: nothing of true relations. The chance of being is replaced by the false hope of a machine-run ‘utopia’: the perfect ending to this process of automation, alienation: the purely synthetic life.
The Earth and its communities suffer. They are forced to endure our drive towards devastation on a global scale. The further we are removed from our being, the further we remain from the world that is of us. Our search for something among a dead reality of machines and specialists has been fueled by tearing out the lifeblood from under the soil, the remains of our elders from under mountains, scraping and burning the reef from the ocean floor, leveling and erasing ecosystems while the soil that gives life drains into dammed rivers collecting the chemicals that we pump into our crops, bodies, air, and land: we are destroying the world that has given us life.
We are those who are tired of slowly dying, sacrificing ourselves to some obscure ideology of what is right and wrong, good and evil; we reject the totality of civilization, from its concrete institutions to its moral, scientific Reason. We realize that so long as we exist in this intentional ‘air-conditioned nightmare’ we are slaves to another, torn from the wild existence that defines the human-animal. We are those who are standing up and resisting our domestication, attempting to destroy the authoritarian institutions which keep all life from realizing full autonomy and self-determination in the truest sense.
As beings, we hold no faith in ideologies or dead philosophies. We see that the anarcho-primitivist critique of civilization offers a look at the history of civilization as a key to understanding where our domestication lies, and how we can liberate ourselves from it. Our interests lie in the ability of all to exist wild and free, and in the hopes that the damage done by civilization will one day no longer keep beings from becoming full once again.

POST-CIVILIZED SOCIETIES
Our understanding of the human-animal comes from the millions of years humans have existed as hunter-gatherers in anti-state societies. The social structure of this way of life is anti-political, recognizing no institution or granting more power to any role. Civilization has grown by contorting our relations to each other. We have grown as full beings through our understanding of ourselves against the backdrop of the community of life and each other. The domesticators have turned this relationship into an ‘us versus/against them’ relation (anthropocentrism), making it possible for the land to be something we work from instead of being a part of. This breaking point made it possible for us to move further from the land and ecologically sane relationships.
Through sedentary, mass agriculture we have been able to throw our population out of ecological/social constraints. Societies grow into States, then into Nations and Empires and on. Humans became the first animal to become completely removed from the community of life: creating the city and its counterpart, the tamed countryside. These could not exist without an extremely alienated, mass society. We move ahead without considering the consequences: ‘insanity’, diseases that could ferment and strengthen, the costs of trying to defy a planet that is always changing completes mediation: collapse.
We recognize that the completely synthetic realities of life out of balance only act against a world of full beings and true relations. The world awaits our return to an ecologically sane way of life, and our bodies await a life in balance with physical and mental needs. Liberation from the totality of civilization will only come through destroying the parasitic city/country life.

THE TOTAL REVOLT
The totality of civilization has flooded our consciousness on every level. Revolt will be vital only so long as it attempts to abolish it on all levels. We need a whole new level of awareness. This means that the scientific rationality that has killed our ability to relate and coexist must be put in check. Civilization can continue to mediate our beings into a synthetic reality by teaching us to ignore our instincts and feelings. The true being requires that we realize these aspects of ourselves, and so revolt must bring the true being out.
The total revolt means a revolt against the totality. It does not mean that these are problems to deal with individually. The anarcho-primitivist critique points to the common underlying factor beneath all of individual faces of domestication: it must be realized for what it is. We are not calling for mass therapy, or reform on any level: no alteration of civilized existence will allow for the flourishing of the full being, only a wild existence. We seek to destroy what stands before us and the community of life, for ourselves and ecological sanity. Reform will only drag the beast on further.

IN THE SPIRIT OF BEING
Civilization is based off our subordination to the Future of those who kill our dreams and mythic existence for the planned history of Empire. The existence of this ‘reality’ requires that all other options are removed and resistance is eliminated. Realizing our true being isn’t a weekend getaway, it is an entirely oppositional way of life; the existence of free beings goes against civilizations totalistic consciousness. We have to realize that our desires to be are steps to revolt.
The true beings within us and of this Earth are up against a wall. The domesticators will stop at nothing to ensure that their vision is the only vision. For this, we realize that our struggle is the struggle of all life. We can no longer sit by and ignore the destruction of our reality while we strive for the realization of autonomy: anarchy. Our lives are on the line, and our options are to either fight it or to remain subordinate. We are those who chose to fight in the spirit so that all life can exist free and wild. We will settle for nothing else than complete autonomy.

BETTER DEAD THAN DOMESTICATED
Realizing the totality of civilized existence we refuse to remain sedate and domesticated any longer. We can live the sedated and synthetic existence with the material comforts of technological-industrial civilization, or we can wake up to the reality that we are faced with. We are those who would rather die and feel embodied by wildness than to die slowly and feed the machine that has devoured our world, our true community.
For us, there is no option worse than a life of subordination. Our desire to be what it is in our being to be is a step towards life. Our lives can come only through the struggle against what has kept us from realizing our own potential. Our Earth and our beings are screaming for something that gives each moment meaning.
Species Traitor is one of our tools to try and break the totality of civilized existence. Our goal isn’t to replace one totality with another, but to awaken the being within each of us that has been lulled to sleep by the rational, scientific reality.
Our intents are not to tell what is right and wrong, but to move against the entire moral, scientific rationality. We are interested only in making connections between the relations of civilization and how they have worked against our wild being. Our intent is to disrupt and destroy the illusions of perfection that keep the civilized order empowered.
We recognize that outside of this mass mentality, the civilized existence has little to stand upon. It is pushing itself and all life towards complete collapse, and we hope to offer means to help push it out of our lives permanently, and in the process help awaken full beings. Realization of the primal consciousness and chaotic wildness are our aspirations, and through this act of open revolt, we take the first steps towards full being.
