Here are some ideas that have been circulated on what this project could or should be:

It should be an anarchist collective-You don't have to "claim" anarchy, just be willing to work collectively with no hierarchy. All decisions should be made by concensus.

It should involve children in activism-Rather than just being a child storage for parents who wanna get away it should show the kids what their parents and allies are working for and how they are doing it. Perhaps the kids can organize and carry out their own action with us as "security."

The children should be safe at every step of the way-We should not involve the children in any dangerous aspects of the mobilization..(We'll keep them away from the police)

Parents should be able to bring the kids to our group in order that they may do work that would not be possible with the kids.

We should be able to help rad families involved in this action in an emergency situation such as arrest, injury, whatever. We can develop a sleepover network in case some parents are in the clink for a few days. We
should also be able to get the children to a jailed person's chosen long term childcare provider should it be necessary. All parents who drop the kids should probably fill out something with this type of contact info.

We should come up with a space (or several) that we can use as a base camp for this action.

We should organize food for the children.

We should be able to transport the children safely from space to space. I don't know if that means getting a bus or a van. A nice veggie oil bus would be great!

We should work closely with the scenarios and logistics working groups to ensure safety of the kids.

We should figure out how to get the message out that we are doing this and families are welcome.

Any other ideas? Come on down to our first meeting and lets hear em!
