In tune with our Food & Water series, Cathe’ Fish will teach us how to produce our own food all year long using the Passive Solar Greenhouse. She will discuss the basic theory of solar energy and show how to apply it to the steps of designing, building, operating, and growing in a passive solar greenhouse. She will explain specific directions for attaching one to your house, as well as freestanding greenhouses. Slideshow and handouts, as well as simple technical details on how to get started on this path to empowerment. Talk starts at 7 pm. Suggested donation: $3-5.
