Tre Arrow arrested by FBI
Tre Arrow was on the FBI's most wanted list, accused of burning logging trucks on Mt Hood. The FBI calls him a "terrorist".

Tre Arrow was taken into custody this morning in Victoria, BC.
Tre Arrow was arrested earlier today in a Victoria British Columbia Hardware store. He was caught shoplifting a set of bolt cutters. He is currently in the custody of Canada, being held on charges of: theft, assault and obstructing a peace officer.
The Portland Joint Terrorist Task Force held a press conference today commending themsleves for the capture by proxy. The FBI has already updated their website to declare that Arrow is "captured" although terms have not released regarding his return to the US. Local activist are already calling for legal funds to help when the time comes

Tre Arrow is currently being held in SOLITARY CONFINEMENT in a Victoria, BC prison.
This issue is not about whether or not he allegedly stole a pair of bolt cutters. Tre needs help from all of us RIGHT NOW. He is effectively being punished for the controversy that surrounds his case and detainment, and the possible or probable extradition he is facing to the US where he is labeled an "eco-terrorist." Under recent US "anti-terrorism" bills, Tre could be facing 80 years in prison.
Tre is a strong, passionate, and compassionate protector of the earth and her forests. He lives his life for the protection of other beings. He has dedicated years to working legally to effect positive change. He has a broad base of support in the Portland area, and is best known for his anti-logging protests and his run for US Congress.
"I have been a longtime activist for human, non-human, animal and environmental issues. My involvement in peaceful, non-violent activism is well-documented. Any attempt to label or brand me as the “t”-word is only an effort to discredit my reputation and detract from the effective campaigns I’ve been involved with."
How will the atmosphere of anti-terrorism hysteria in this country even allow for a fair and just trial for Tre?
Today is day 20 of Tre's hunger strike. He is consuming only water. Tre has stated that the two main reasons for the hunger strike are: "firstly, to protest this incarceration and the lack of justice within the U.S. judicial system; and secondly, to show a token of solidarity to all those suffering around the world as a result of corporate agendas which leave in their wake poisoned water, contaminated air and lack of adequate food."
THE URGENT NEED TODAY IS TO HAVE HIM MOVED OUT OF SOLITARY CONFINEMENT and back to a regular cell. SO FAX, CALL, or WRITE LETTERS NOW to the warden, Rawn Pahalen, who put him there following his first court appearance on Monday, March 29, 2004. Tre was doing fine in his regular cell until his current punishment began, and now he feels "horrible." Tre is urging everyone to blanket the jail with phone calls, letters, and faxes until the jail backs off its cruelty.
