Fight Weak/Voiceless Progressive Representation
Fight Weak Progressive Representation
We Need Strong, Controversial and Effective Progressive Politico’s Locally and in Sacramento
California progressive and democratic officeholders, have clearly done a poor job in defending the California masses against the economic slash-and-burn neo-liberal policies under Schwarzenegger. It's unforgiveable that more hasn’t been done in the media by our representatives to prevent the passage of the $15 billion dollar debt bond that will cripple this state for generations without sensible increases in revenue. These increases must come from the wealthy and successful corporations who now get ill-considered tax deferments from their socio-economic community responsibilities. The proper route toward socio-economic solvency to restore the previous high quality of life in California for everyone including the rich, is to pursue the unequivocal repeal of proposition 13. We must recover our collective sanity and community mindedness ripped away by Gubenatorial voodoo Reagan/Wilsonomics. California must act independently of the insane selfish rightward lurch in national policy that’s forcing the rest of the country to rapidly tank. We, too, will tank economically if we follow stupid, failed Bushco policies via the idiot, Schwarzenegger. We must work hard to recover from the selfish short-sighted wealthy knee-jerk republican and complicit democrats intentional upward re-distribution of wealth to the un-deserving few. We must stop the transfer of California public money toward corporate welfare and police state institutions such as prisons. Funding has been flushed almosts totally away from the pride of California: high quality nearly universal education. Schwarzenegger has set his sites on dismantling our educational entitlements, which entitlements made this State the 5th wealthiest economy in the world. We must not support Bush or Schwarzenegger socio-pathic right wing policies that don’t work and have never worked anywhere in the world–especially not in any of Bushco’s cronies’ banana republics. There is no compromise with these banana republicans and complicit republocrats. The time for compromise with them has long past. Corporations and the super wealthy cannot be allowed to make public policy.
Furthermore, I call on Loni Hancock to please reign in her ineffectual metrosexual right wing turncoat husband, Tom Bates Mayor of Berkeley, and influence him as much as she can to start supporting progressive and socialist economic agendas at the local municipal level in Berkeley. He campaigned as a progressive and is acting like a republican by most of his actions that matter. I’m quite tired of seeing elitist politico's in California throw away our future in tacit or de facto support of the greediest super rich individuals and corporations who do not benefit the whole without regulation and legislation forcing change toward sustainable technology, pro-environment regulation and progressive taxation of the now embarrassingly wealthy who are bizarrely wealthy at the masses’ ongoing suffering and increasing personal expense. No Walmartization of California, please. Please take the democratic overthrow and vast majority public rebuke of the far right wing Spanish government neo-liberal supporters of Bushco as an example of what's going to happen to those politico's here in California who refuse to get strong and controversial in their defense of progressive agendas over mounting national and state corporate dictatorship. We must all fight the wholesale destruction of social programs and education.
