Global Day of Protest on the Year Anniversary of Invasion of Iraq March and Rally:
The World Still Says No to War

Last year, millions upon millions took to the streets in an unprecedented show of
worldwide grassroots solidarity against the war in Iraq. On this year anniversary
of the invasion, there will be countless numbers speaking out again in a unified
voice of protest at over 200 events in the U.S. and in over 50 countries across the
globe.

It isn't just the "usual suspects" who are speaking out and who see through Bush's
jingoism, fearmongering, and lies. The growing numbers of disillusioned are from all
points on the political spectrum. And, as Bush gears up for four more years, it's
more important than ever for us to put aside our differences, get out in the
streets, and stand together in resounding opposition to Bush's policies of
preemptive strikes and occupation, and against the war profiteering of his corporate
cronies.

Grab some friends and join CodePink as we unite with over 500 organizations and
innumerable individuals across the globe in demanding truth, peace, and justice for
Iraq and its people!

Wear a pink slip and write a message on it telling Bush he's fired for the chaotic,
illegal mission he's accomplished in Iraq.

As a member group of United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ), CodePink will join that
contingent in the march.

Meet at 11am near 18th and Church Streets in Dolores Park. Look for the UFPJ and
CodePink banners and all the folks in pink!

For more information about the local march and what folks are doing around the
country, go to UFPJ's website: http://www.unitedforpeace.org.

Do you want to do more? Can't go to the march, but want to take action? At UFPJ's
website, you can also check out its call to carry the "World Still Says No to War"
message further by contacting Congressmembers on March 19th and 24th.
