Last month, Kevin Cooper was scheduled to be executed by the State
of California despite a mountain of evidence suggesting his
innnocence. With the commendable efforts of anti-death penalty
activists all around the world, a strong movement to save Kevin's
Life was launched. This movement proved a major success, for
Kevin's execution was stayed just hours before it was scheduled.
The fight continues today, with activists and attorneys working
harder than ever to win justice for Kevin and an end to the death
penalty once and for all. Come hear Kevin's thoughts about the
fight against the death penalty live from death row via
speakerphone. Other guest speakers include Derrel Meyers, founder
of Murder Victim's Families for Reconciliation, and David Alexander,
a member of Kevin's legal team. This event is co-sponsored by the
