The Green Party And The 2004 Presidential Race: Panel Discussion
Find out what's going on with the Green Party presidential race and what it means for local efforts.
***Green Sunday***
Sunday March 14th - 5:00 to 6:30pm
The Green Party And The 2004 Presidential Race:
Panel Discussion on Strategies, Viewpoints, and Local Relevance
Please join us for a moderated panel discussion investigating the
role of the Green Party in the 2004 Presidential Race. We will
examine the topic from different positions, ranging from a strong run
by the Greens, to not running at all.
What about Ralph Nader and Peter Camejo's candidacies? Will a Green
presidential race matter for local Greens, and how will it affect our
local efforts?
Participants will include active local Green Party members Kenny
Mostern (Berkeley IRV Campaign Coordinator), Forrest Hill
(http://www.draftcamejo.org), and Judi Hirsh (Kucinich advocate, Oakland
teacher).
Also participating will be members of the California State Green
Party Coordinating Committee, who will explain the candidate
nomination process.
Bring your questions and ideas.
