Sacramento area peace and justice organizations are organizing a "Save Democracy In Haiti" demonstration at the federal building at 5 & I, Sacramento on Friday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m. We need to get a big turnout for this event!

Peace and Justice in Haiti
Meet at the Federal Building at 5 & I, Sacramento
Friday, March 12th at 10:30 a.m.

Sacramento Unites To Support:

1. The efforts of Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus to convene a Congressional Investigation into the role the Bush Administration played in the recent coup in Haiti as well as the call from CARICOM for a separate investigation by the United Nations.

2. The restoration of the constitutional government of Haiti, including Pres. Aristide.

3. Safeguarding American and French troops (who are viewed by many Haitians as an occupying force) and replacing them with UN Peacekeepers.
