The Barrington Collective builds genuine, supportive communities to overcome feelings of powerlessness, alienation and dependence and to provide social contexts for individual and group creative empowerment.

The collective networks among co-ops and collectives as well as with broader Bay Area communities. It attempts to bridge gaps, to facilitate skill sharing and mutual learning, and to pool resources, information and energies both among its members and in solidarity with other individuals and communities.
