Pictures of Baghdad
Pictures I took in Baghdad in Feb. 2004
Everyday sceens from the street.
There have been constant gas shortages since the war started. Lines were often 8-12 hours but the situation has improved and now 15 minutes to 1 hour is more normal but all stations are still gaurded and surrounded by barbed wire and other entrances blocked.
It is an ilegal but thriving business to resell gas for those that dont have the hours to wait in line. The US occupation has imposed a 5 year sentance for those caught.
Now it holds a monument to victims Saddam's torture.
